Iceland: 14 day tour around the island

14 days / 13 nights. Overall distance 3749 km.
I went there in June this year. June is warm enough and with less people than in July/August. I drove around the island, excluding Westfjords.

Do small scratches on lens front element affect the picture quality?

Long time ago I bought used Canon 24-105mm lens with scratched front element. Scratches were 2-3mm long and I thought they won't affect picture quality at all. And indeed I didn't notice anything until I started the product photography.

Travel tripod comparison: Manfrotto BeFree, Benro Travel Angel II and Gitzo Series 1

In this review I'll compare three travel tripods I've used.

Manfrotto BeFree (MKBFRA4-BH)
Benro Travel Angel II (C1682TB0)
Gitzo SER. 1 6X Traveler Kit (GK1580TQR4)

All three are kits, i.e., tripod and head.

Although they are in different price categories, it doesn't always mean that expensive is better. I'll share my experience using these tripods.

Vignetting test. Canon 17-40mm on full-frame camera and Lee 105mm Polariser

Today I'm going to test vignetting on Canon 17-40mm using full-frame camera and Lee filter system. The purpose of this test is to see how bad vignetting is when using Lee 105mm Rotating Polariser with two filter configuration.
